My yoga journey began almost 2 decades ago. At that time I was experiencing horrible anxiety, panic attacks, struggled daily with "I'm not good enough" thoughts. From my first yoga class, I intuitively knew that a dedicated yoga practice was what I needed to heal myself. In 2014, I completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training with Kathryn Whitney and began teaching classes at the Beverly YMCA which has served as my home base for 11 years.
I would describe myself as a teacher for all. I teach professionally for the public schools and love community based classes. It's really all about the community of practice. We breathe together, move together, learn together, laugh together, and support each other in the craziness and beauty of life. I welcome all ages and ability levels.
My styles are Vinyasa; strong, creative, deep. I also teach slow flow and restorative; a mindful combination of movement and stillness.
